Programme update | New workshop
Sexual Harassment — Engaging boys and men in gender justice
René Strik is going to hold a workshop on encouraging boys and men to take action for gender equality, in terms of preventing sexual harassment and violence against women. IMAGINE (Inspiring Male Action on Gender Equality in Europe) and Emancipator are doing important work on inspiring young men to be more involved on gender-related issues by discussing with them questions such as: What does it mean to be a man? What are gender roles? What is consent? How can I stop sexual violence and sexual harassment?
These discussions are important as, even though most perpetrators are boys and men, most boys and men are not perpetrators. IMAGINE, together with the boys, is developing methods and means to reduce violence.
Join the discussion on 22nd of November from 14:30 to 15:15.

The World Economic Forum has published its annual gender equality ranking
Gender parity is fundamental to whether and how economies and societies thrive. Ensuring the full development and appropriate deployment of half of the world’s total talent pool has a vast bearing on the growth, competitiveness and future-readiness of economies and businesses worldwide.
By opening a platform for discussion, the Gender Equality Conference 2017 drives to further influence on gender equality in the European Workmarket.
